Wood stoves
Freestanding, out in the room, radiating heat from every side. This is the most effective way to actually warm a space with wood — and the reason people who heat with wood on purpose usually end up with a stove rather than a fireplace.
Wood inserts
A sealed firebox that slides into the masonry fireplace you already own. It turns an open, heat-losing hole in the wall into a closed heater that will hold a fire for hours instead of minutes.
Wood-burning fireplaces
For new construction and remodels where you want a real wood fire built into the wall from the start, with proper venting designed in rather than worked around afterwards.
Blowers, surrounds & accessories
A blower pushes the heat out into the room instead of letting it pool around the stove, and it is the upgrade people most often wish they had bought at the same time. Surrounds, trim kits and the tools to run a wood fire properly.
Why we carry Osburn.
There is a lot of wood-burning equipment on the market that is really just decoration. Osburn is not that, and it does not carry a boutique price tag either.

Are they EPA certified?
Yes. Osburn builds to current EPA emissions standards, which is not just a paperwork matter — a cleaner burn means more of the energy in your firewood ends up as heat in the room instead of creosote in the chimney.
Can an Osburn insert go into my masonry fireplace?
In most cases, yes, provided the firebox and chimney are sound. That is exactly what an insert is designed for: it seals the open firebox and turns it into a closed heater while you keep the mantel and surround you already have. We measure the opening on site before quoting.
Will a wood stove heat my whole house?
It depends on the layout more than the stove. An open floor plan with the stove central can carry a surprising amount of a house; a closed-off ranch with long hallways will not, no matter what the box says. Tell us the layout and we will give you a straight answer rather than oversizing you.
Does a wood stove need annual chimney cleaning?
Yes, if you burn regularly. Creosote builds in the flue and is the main cause of chimney fires. We do the cleaning as well as the install — details on our service page.
